Nat Briggs
Sports Rehabilitator
I have always had an interest in both science and sport from a young age. I started with a fascination for the Human Biology at school and my family has a medical background with my mother being a midwife, so medicine was always something that was instilled in me. I was also a keen sports person being more than competent in a lot of sports from Rugby to Cricket growing up. These factors lead me to be accepted with an all-round scholarship to Trinity School Croydon in my earlier years.
Following secondary school graduation, I studied a BSc in Biomedical Science with an Upper Second-Class Honours, however I feel as though I was somewhat wasted in a laboratory setting with the interpersonal skills that I believe I possessed. I also had too much knowledge of sport to not incorporate this into my career going forward, therefore a small but effective change was to study a postgraduate MSC in Sports Rehabilitation following undergraduate study. I graduated in 2021 after a part-time degree that included months of placement in industry and working as a personal trainer at the same time.
To summarise, my journey so far has allowed for the best combination of knowledge and understanding of sports and science to best aid clients in getting back to their best and back on their game.
