Nat Briggs

Sports Rehabilitator & Physiotherapist

I have always had an interest in both science and sport from a young age. I started with a fascination for the Human Biology at school and my family has a medical background with my mother being a midwife, so medicine was always something that was instilled in me. I was also a keen sports person being more than competent in a lot of sports from Rugby to Cricket growing up. These factors lead me to be accepted with an all-round scholarship to Trinity School Croydon in my earlier years.

Following secondary school graduation, I studied a BSc in Biomedical Science with an Upper Second-Class Honours, however I feel as though I was somewhat wasted in a laboratory setting with the interpersonal skills that I believe I possessed. I also had too much knowledge of sport to not incorporate this into my career going forward, therefore a small but effective change was to study a postgraduate MSC in Sports Rehabilitation following undergraduate study. I graduated in 2021 after a part-time degree that included months of placement in industry and working as a personal trainer at the same time.

To summarise, my journey so far has allowed for the best combination of knowledge and understanding of sports and science to best aid clients in getting back to their best and back on their game.

I’m passionate about helping people move, recover, and live with confidence. After graduating with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University, I’ve dedicated my practice to providing personalised, evidence-based care for people with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. From sports injuries to post-operative rehabilitation and long-term pain management, I take a holistic approach that blends manual therapy, exercise, and education.

Over the past two years, I have worked extensively in private practice, supporting both recreational and high-performing athletes. This has included providing physiotherapy for sports scholars at Trinity School in Croydon, working pitch-side with the Round Towers Gaelic Football Senior Men’s Team, and supporting runners at the London Marathon as well as volleyball athletes at the All Nations Tournament. I have also undertaken additional training in acupuncture to further enhance my practice.

I’m dedicated to creating a supportive environment where patients feel listened to and empowered. Whether your goal is to get stronger, return to sport or hobbies, or simply move more freely, I’m committed to helping you achieve lasting results and reach your personal goals.

I have always had an enthusiasm for movement, sport, and maintaining an active lifestyle. Growing up, I participated in a variety of sports including netball, handball, and basketball, alongside many years of dance, which helped develop my understanding of sport, movement, performance and injury prevention. These experiences inspired my interest in physiotherapy and the opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives, by helping them in returning to doing what they love most.

With a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Brunel University, I’m beginning my career with a strong focus on providing patient-centred, evidence-based care. I am passionate about helping individuals recover from injury, improve their function, and regain confidence in their movement while feeling empowered throughout their recovery, whether that means returning to sport, work, or everyday activities.

I take a supportive and holistic approach to rehabilitation, combining exercise therapy, education, and hands-on treatment to help patients achieve their goals. I strive to build strong client relationships through trust and communication while continuously developing my skills to provide the highest standard of care.

My aim is to create a supportive environment to help clients get back on their game.
